1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the app:

• Google account info — name and email (used for Google Sign-In authentication)
• Device information — device model, OS version, and a device fingerprint (for fraud prevention)
• Game activity data — launches, wins, coins earned, streaks, and leaderboard rankings
• IP address — for security, rate limiting, and fraud detection
• Push notification tokens — for delivering game notifications (optional)

We do NOT collect: banking or financial information, government IDs (PAN, Aadhaar, SSN), contacts, photos, precise location, browsing history, or any sensitive personal data.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

• Authenticating your identity via Google Sign-In
• Tracking your virtual Bulopt Coins balance and in-game progress
• Maintaining leaderboards and rankings
• Managing the in-game Reward Store (rocket skins, fuel packs, power-ups)
• Processing referral bonuses within the Astro-Crew system
• Sending optional push notifications about streaks, milestones, and in-game events
• Detecting and preventing fraud, bots, and multi-accounting

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Virtual Economy — No Real Money

Bulopt is a free-to-play casual trivia game. Bulopt Coins are virtual currency with absolutely no real-world cash value. Coins can be redeemed only for in-game items (rocket skins, fuel packs, power-ups) through the in-app Reward Store. No vouchers, gift cards, mobile recharges, or real-world goods are offered. No real money is deposited, wagered, or withdrawn in this app. This is NOT a real money gaming (RMG), gambling, or betting app.

4. In-Game Progress & Eligibility

The app tracks Stars (a measure of daily play consistency) and total Coins earned to determine eligibility for premium in-game items (exclusive rocket skins and enhanced power-ups). Stars expire after 180 days on a rolling window. This eligibility system is purely for unlocking additional virtual in-game content — it does not involve any real money, payouts, or real-world rewards. Progress data is stored locally on your device and synced with our servers.

5. Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• All network communication uses TLS/SSL encryption
• Sensitive data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest
• JWT tokens for authentication with short expiry periods
• Server-side validation for all game actions (anti-cheat)
• Rate limiting and IP-based abuse prevention

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging — for push notifications
• Google AdMob — for serving optional rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization per Google's privacy policy.
• Google Sign-In — for optional authentication
• Sentry — for crash reporting and error monitoring

We may display sponsor branding (logos, names) within the app for visual purposes. Sponsors do not receive any of your personal data.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Local game data is removed when you uninstall the app. Server-side data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request complete account deletion at any time — requests are processed within 30 days, after which all personal data is permanently erased from our servers. You may also request a copy of your data (data export) at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

Bulopt is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it. Users aged 13-17 require verifiable parental or guardian consent before using the app.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data held by us
• Correct any inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Opt out of promotional push notifications at any time
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
